I can't find a reference like that on a web search (perhaps I'm asking the wrong question) so, as I know very little about inverter circuitry, I've no idea of the rating of the components. The component appears to be a common cathode double diode and there is a just visible number - 092M-02. The cutter now works although, I imagine, at a lower output. Testing the components revealed one of those was short and I removed the pair. On each side of the main heatsink are three pairs of what appear to be SCRs and three pairs of unidentified TO220 lumps. We kept the inoperative unit and I've just taken a look at it's insides. The supplier refunded the money but expected us to pay to return the duff unit. The second one worked perfectly, for a cut of about 12 inches and then stopped.
